Dr. Richland Ebony Mosley, affectionately known as, Dr. Rich, is a Houston native who obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Spelman College before going on to earn her doctorate degree from Texas A&M College of Dentistry. She has been practicing as a general dentist for the past couple of years. She has a passion for helping people improve their smiles and educating others about the importance of their oral health care.

Even as a practicing dentist, Richland has always had a passion for writing. She has always been an avid reader. Growing up, she would spend hours reading all types of books, from The Babysitter’s Club books, the Goosebumps books, the Odyssey, The American Girl: Addy Book Series, as well as books by Omar Tyree, Brenda Jackson, and Beverly Jenkins. She loves romance books.

Her passion for reading, went hand in hand with her passion for writing. Her love for writing started when she was a child and she told her parents that she wanted to be the next Dr. Seuss. In 1997, she won the Best Fiction competition for Texas Monthly Magazine when she was in the 6th grade and her passion for writing has continued to grow as she has gotten older. She started a Christian Blog four years ago.

Although, she has had the opportunity to take some writing classes while in college and graduate school, she has not been trained as a writer. Her writing solely stems from her passion and love for the craft.

Her stories are about empowering people through real-life situations and experiences. She loves to interweave stories together and characters that people can relate too. Her goal is to empower people, through her writing, to dream big, aspire to be all that God created them to be, and know that anything is possible with God!

Most of her stories have a Christian base due to her love for God and all that He has done in her life.

Live Rich and Be Cool,

Dr. Rich
