Me and My Future Husband Prayer 15: Lust

Hi Friends! 

This is Day 15 of the Me and My Future Husband Prayer Series.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for loving us despite our sins. Please deliver me and my future husband from lust and perversion.

Please deliver us from sexual sin. Please keep us from sexual immorality. 

Let us present our bodies as living sacrifices to you every day of our lives. Please forgive us of our sexual sins, lustful thoughts, and actions. We repent. Please purify us from all unrighteousness. Although I am a virgin, I have struggled with lust, masturbation, and sexual fantasies. I repent. Please forgive me. Please deliver my future husband from any sexual sins and lust he may be struggling with. Please don’t let us do things with our bodies that are not pleasing to you. Please fully set us free from these strongholds. Please have mercy on us, Father. Please don’t let us give in to our flesh anymore. Please let us flee sexual immorality from this day forward and fight the temptation with your Word and prayer when we are tempted. Let us flee youthful lusts. Let us pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. Please let us cast down all evil and lustful imaginations and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Let us both crucify the flesh and its desires and its passions. Let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and Spirit. Let us walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Let us honor you with our bodies. Please forgive us for the lustful actions and thoughts that we’ve had. Please forgive us for the lust in our lives. Please cleanse yourself of impure thoughts, desires, and actions. Please cleanse our hearts, minds, and souls. Please help us to resist temptation. Please purify us of all lust and unrighteousness. Please give us pure hearts and minds. Please transform our desires, thoughts, and actions to be in alignment with your Word and will for our lives. Fill our minds with your Word. Please help us find satisfaction and pleasure in you, not in temporary pleasures. Please set us free from the bondage of lust. Please remove all lust from us. Don’t let our passions consume us. Don’t let us commit adultery. Don’t let us look lustfully on any man or woman. Don’t let us be sexually immoral. Don’t let us be godless. Don’t let our sexual desires control us.
