Song: Praise Is What I Do by William Murphy
Hi friends!
It’s November, and as we are coming up on Thanksgiving.
What better way to celebrate than to spend 21 days in prayer, giving thanks to God?
The book of Psalms is a great book to study to see how David and others prayed and communicated with God through praise and worship.
I’ve learned so much studying this book.
And I love how honest David was with God. He shared everything with God: his pain, his joy, his disappointment, and everything.
And that’s how we have to be.
I’ve learned, and I’m still hearing, that we have to be humble and vulnerable with God.
And when we did that, let’s always enter into his presence with praise and Thanksgiving.
Let me also preface this by saying that sometimes praise and worship are a sacrifice.
Meaning that it’s not always easy to praise God and thank Him, especially when we are going through different challenges in life.
But regardless of what we are going through, God deserves our honor and praise.
He is our Creator, and He always has our back and is working things out for our good, even when it doesn’t feel like it.
God is amazing, and when we learn to praise Him even when it hurts, it brings blessings into our lives because it shows our faith and belief in Him.
So I want to encourage you and myself through this Thanksgiving Prayer Series.
We always have something to be thankful for!
Let’s praise God!
Let’s write love letters for how awesome He is!
Let’s give Him the honor He deserves!
Let’s think of all the things we can thank God for!
We shouldn’t just give thanks to God on Thanksgiving Day.
We should thank Him every day!
He deserves all of our honor and praise, not just because of the things He does for us, but for who He is.
He is our Creator, and He loves us more than anything!
So let’s jump into the 21 prayers of Thanksgiving to God.
Let’s take time to appreciate God and thank Him for all He does for us and for all He has given us.
He deserves it!
XO,
Dr. Rich 💋

Heavenly Father,
Blessed be your glorious name. May it be exalted above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all the starry host, the earth, and all that is on it, the seas, and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you. You are the Lord God. Thank you for who you are. You are faithful. You are merciful. You are kind and patient with us. Thank you for knowing our names. Thank you for giving us life. Thank you for always protecting us. Thank you for leading us. Thank you for not letting us fall or stumble. Thank you for working in our lives. Thank you for all of the blessings you’ve given us. Thank you for loving us and taking care of us. Thank you for always being with us and never forsaking us. We thank you for being all-powerful and almighty. You are awesome and deserve all of our praise. We honor you and thank you. Thank you for being majestic. Thank you for your righteousness. We love you, Father. We praise you, Father!
In Jesus’ name,

Thanksgiving Prayer 6: Thank you for telling us no when you need to
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for telling us no when we don’t know better. Thank you for your wisdom and guidance that help us along our journey.
When you tell us no to something or someone we want, it can hurt us, but it can also help us accept your no because you know what’s best for us and our greater purpose.
Please help us see your 'no' as a redirection, not a rejection.
Please help us to see your no as protection.
You have a perfect will for our lives.
Please help us surrender to your will rather than our will for our lives. Please help us to accept that your plan for our lives is much better than our own and that your no is better than our yes.
