March is Women’s History Month, so please take the time to celebrate the special women in your life and yourself (if you’re a woman).
For me, I love being a woman. I believe God created women to be some of the world's most powerful and influential people.
Not only are we intelligent, but we’re beautiful, strong, wise, and can build a nation from the wisdom, strength, and influence that God gave us.
Beyoncé said it best in her song, Run The World, “My persuasion can build a nation.”
As women, we can make a great impact on the world. We influence our friends and family. And if we are married and have children, we influence our husbands and kids. So, as women, it’s important for us to use our power for good.
Some of my favorite women in the Bible are Abigail, Ruth, Deborah, and Esther. If you have time, read their stories. I promise you won’t regret it!
For me, it’s important for the women in my books to be intelligent, ambitious, have their own careers and purposes, have their own identity, and still be loving and able to care for their families and be a great wife and mother.
I want my female characters to inspire all of my readers, especially my female readers, and show them what is possible in their own lives if they trust God and live in their strength, talent, femininity, and God-given power.
With that being said, I hope you’re enjoying the Savior A Perfect Love Story Series.
