Hi Friends,

As I have grown closer in my relationship with God, I have started praying scripture over specific problems in my life and the different things that I go through, and I love it. If you haven’t done so, I encourage you to implement scriptures into your prayers.

Here is a prayer for March based on James Chapter One. I hope that it richly blesses your life:

Dear God,

Please help us to consider it pure joy when we face trials of many kinds.

Please help us know and accept that testing our faith produces perseverance and that perseverance will help us be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Please bless us with wisdom.

Thank you so much for giving to us generously.

Please help us have faith, believe, and not doubt.

Help us not to be double-minded or unstable in the things we do.

Please help us to be completely humble.

Please remove all pride and arrogance from us.

Please forgive us for all of our sins.

Help us not to be deceived.

Please help us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.

Please help us understand that human anger doesn’t produce the righteousness you desire.

Please rid us of all moral filth and evil.

Please help us not only to listen to your word but also to do what it says.

Please help us to have a tight rein on our tongue.

Be with us to look after orphans and widows.

Please help us to keep ourselves from being polluted by the world.
